In times of the pandemic, people have had to become accustomed to a new way of living, whether it is by working from home, going to the office and wearing a mask all day, or a mixture of both. As a result, one of the most looked-out for styles of 2020 can be reduced to one simple word: COMFORT. One of the designers of our selection has succeeded at portraying this style through a natural, minimalistic ethos. Isabel Marant, although known to be one of the most acclaimed bohemian-style designers, proposed a FW2020 collection based on minimalism, but also edgy looks.
Her inspiration for her main collection was the 80's, through which a proposal for bold, textured garments was made. You can expect to find in her collection a group of edgy sweaters, plenty of white hues, knits with puff shoulders, as well as oversized coats that can be styled with belts and slim-fit pants.
Isabel Marant's Etoile collection on the other hand, was inspired by South American folk styles such as the use of ponchos and geometric prints. Our favorite garments include the oversized statement coats, which present a washed-out characteristic that is impossible not to be drawn-to this season.
Make sure to stay tuned for our drop of Isabel Marant's coats, as well as more of our favorite selection of garments to match a perfect romanticised French-style!
